Step 1.

Rub the cottage cheese through a small colander. Add 1 egg, vanillin, sugar, salt and 150 g. Flour, knead a homogeneous soft dough.

Step 2.

Dust the board with flour, lay out the dough and roll it in the form of sausages with a diameter of 3-4 cm.

Step 3

Each "sausage" is cut into small pieces of 1.5 cm. Each piece is slightly pressed down with a fork on both sides, the dumplings will take the shape and pattern remaining from the fork.

Step 4

Bring 2 liters of water to a boil, add salt to taste and put half of the dumplings prepared for boiling, mix. As soon as the water with dumplings boils and all the dumplings float to the surface, then they are ready. They must be taken out of the water immediately.

Step 5

Put the prepared dumplings in a plate, add small pieces of butter, fresh berries or jam on top, if desired. Serve sour cream to dumplings.
