Step 1: chop the zucchini.
Rinse the zucchini and cut it into circles of medium thickness. If the zucchini is large, peel the seed core and peel off.

In a bowl, mix flour, egg, milk, baking powder, salt, pepper to taste and beat well with a whisk or fork to make a dough like pancakes. That is quite thick, but still liquid.
Step 3: fry the zucchini in the dough.
Heat the oil in a frying pan. Dip the zucchini circles in the dough, take them out with a fork and immediately put them in a frying pan.
Fry in batches.
