This salad is just a find! Philadelphia or Lazy Sushi Salad

Ingredients

The main ones:

  1. Cucumber 2 pcs. (small)
  2. Cream cheese 150 gr
  3. Salted red fish 350-400 gr
  4. Avocado 1 pc.
  5. Lemon juice 2 tsp (so that the avocado does not darken too quickly)
  6. Round-grain rice 250 gr

For rice:

  1. Water 280 gr
  2. Vinegar 2 tbsp
  3. Sugar 1 tbsp with a slide
  4. Salt 0.5 tsp
  5. Nori 2-4 pcs (optional and available)

Cooking:


For this salad, you can take special rice for sushi, or you can use regular rice, but be sure to take round-grain.
Rinse well several times. Pour in water, let it boil and boil over low heat for 15 minutes. Turn off the heat, put a few paper towels in a saucepan with rice or cover with an ordinary towel. Leave on for 10 minutes to absorb excess moisture in the towel.
Mix vinegar, sugar and salt. Season the rice with the resulting sauce. Allow the rice to cool completely.
Add 2 chopped nori leaves to one piece of rice. You can make all the rice with nori, then take 4 sheets of nori.
Cut half the fish into cubes, half thin slices. Cut the cucumber and avocado into cubes. To prevent the avocado from getting dark, sprinkle it with lemon juice. You can adjust the size of the cubes individually, I like the large ones, so that the taste of each ingredient is clearly felt.
We collect the salad: the first layer of rice with nori, red fish cubes, cucumber, rice, avocado, red fish with slices in the shape of roses. Put a little cream cheese on each layer. I advise you to spread avocados and red fish with roses right before serving so that the avocado does not darken and the fish does not wind.
Serve with soy sauce, wasabi and ginger.
